to all the folks from LA....helppp

I need some help from everyone living in the LA area  :)  I'll be travelling to LA with some friends in late april and was wondering if you guys could help me out by letting me know where all the awesome malls and party hotspots are! Your help much appreciated!

Proper LA or general SoCal?

Off the top of my head for shopping you could go to Glendale Galleria, Santa Monica, Del Amo, Ontario Mills, Beverley Center. To be honest be prepared to pay crazy amount of money for stuff, you won't find deals at the big malls usually. If you go to Orange County there is South Coast Plaza which is top notch.

Regarding clubs, someone else can help but be prepared for ridiculously long lines if you hit up places in Hollywood or Santa Monica.

thats awesome! thanks. yea im staying in hollywood! i guess i should have specified lol.. ive heard the lines for clubs are going to but nuts..hopefully they are worth the wait :)

i guess ill be avoiding crenshaw..thanks for the tip :P hahahahaha

haha i went out to LA to visit schools when i was applying, and i ended up on crenshaw in a red/blue striped polo cuz we got lost. mannnn big mistake. i hadda walk into walmart wit a beeter on jus to be safe. haha

Haha if you hit a Walmart in LA you know you're in the hood. But if you hit a Walmart ON CRENSHAW get the fuuudge out of there haha.

If you're in Hollywood, I rec you check out LA Live, The Grove, Beverly Center, 3rd Street Promenade, Glendale Galleria, Hollywood & Highland and Del Amo Fashion Center (one of the biggest malls out here). LA Live is amazing, it just opened up next door to Staples Center and theres plenty of stuff (plenty of bars, dinner places, huge movie theater, and the sickest Ritz i've seen in any of the big US cities). The Grove is awesome at night during good weather, people are out, there are bands that come out and all of us hot people walk around haha. The clubs in LA are terrible for guys, you have to shell out some serious coin if you don't want to wait, but as a girl I think you'll be straight. Theres a new club open everyday so I coudln't tell you what the best one is haha. But the popular ones are Area, Les Deux (made famous by the cast of The Hills), Opera, The Standard (shown on Entourage), and Foxtail. If you need any other tips, let me know!

if you want to avoid long lines at clubs try calling them a day before and see if they can get you on lists or have some kind of deal if you bring a bunch of girls. easy way to bypass the line.
