i agree... i think most reasons people leave teams are because of ego's... an egoless team is a team that functions the best with eachother...

-Open communication is huge, everything needs to be said openly, so shit talking behind your own members doenst start.
-being cocky and having a ego is the worst thing that can happen to a team, its propbably one of the biggest things that tears teams apart.

-having talented dancers is a asset, but you can train anyone as long as you have the patience to do so. Same with choreo it gets better with time.

everyone has an ego at the back of their minds, weather you display it or not... however, i feel the team itself is the most important thing to the team... meaning, everyone gets along, respects one another and respects each others time... if 1 member cannot put in the same amount of hours as another and has a valid reason there should be no "i practice more than him" type of talk... communication is key and a sharing of a common goal..
