Fuddruckers!! Perfect!  There's one literally across the street from our campus! THANKSS

Yeah we distributed some spons packets, too, but Michigan's economy is HORRIBLE and as soon as people realize we're asking for money... chakkk de packett.... :(  We should keep at it, though.

Anybody done anything like the Qdoba plan?  And whoever did the Qdoba thing, how does that worK? Any other places do similiar fundraising options?

I organized the Qdoba thing in the past. The main thing they offer is giving you $1 for every "meal" someone buys provided that person brings a coupon with them. It lasts approximately 3-5 days. Unfortunately, since we did it in Cleveland Winter, we couldn't get enough of these coupons to people and enough people didn't go. It can be an easy fundraiser if you get people to stand outside the Qdoba and give out the flyers to people who are entering in addition to going in huge groups of people to Qdoba. It has a lot of potential, but theres a lot of work involved.

Right now, I'm staying with my pub-fundraiser as my main fundraiser. (cranks out $200-300 per night, running every month)

I could be wrong, but isnt hiring a bhangra team for a wedding reception, engagement, bday, etc more of like a canada/california thing? i cant really imagine east coast teams getting too many gigs. I remember with dunya there used to be like one or 2 gigs every weekend. Depending on how many dancers you had, the money would be split.

yea not really sure where you got that info...we get asked to do gigs all the time...there's a comparably large Punjabi population in the tri-state area...and not even just Punjabi weddings/engagements/events but others too!

not as many as 2/week but still plenty!

Hahaha, we just got a gig..... in Ohio. [For those who don't know.... it's Ohio]

Can somebody explain a pub night?

I explained it a few posts in this thread. I'm too lazy to find it and repost. Obviously that's my version and there are other versions too.
