uhmm.. yeh they should. I know girls that are better dancers then guys.
If the girls are exacuting the moves right.. I don't see the problem in having one category.

Originally I was indifferent/unsure,

but after seeing teams like SMD, NJ, etc...that can execute bhangra equally, if not, sometimes even 10x better than co-ed or all male teams....I don't think it really matters

the question is...is there a subconscious bias within judges minds? i guess that's dependent on the judge.

girls should be able to compete with guys aslong as the judges rn't like "ooh an all girls team!...let's give em extra points for bein the only girls team in da line-up" nd aslong as its bhangra, not gidha.

thats part of the reason that i think they should have different categories. the judges can either cann them over for being a girls team or give them extra points for being a girls team...............i think that if they dance in the same category as guys then they shouldn't be judged differently

3 Golden Rules of Bhangra

1) Bhangra should be done by males only.
2) Bhangra should be done by Jatts only.
3) Bhangra should be done in a khet, and only a khet.

Any deviation from these 3 golden rules should be considered a direct attack on the folk art of Bhangra. The punishment should be public denunciation followed by a life sentence in the Gulag.
