Alo! everyone! My name is Italianguy.....and as you can guess....I'm Italian. I love Bhangra and have been attending the Boston Bhangra competition since 2008.I travel rom Virginia to see that show and will continue to do so. I am obsessed now and I make my wife mad all day by playing my Dhol.....at 5am in the morning....ever seen a little Tamillian woman get mad

I am looking for some more shows to drag my wife to.lol I live in Hampton roads VA. I would like to go to more shows and bring my aunties and uncles, but ummah doesn't want to go all the way to Boston. My Ukka (sister) in law attends UVA, and i missed the show they put on a couple of months ago. PLEASE HELP, I need my Bhangra fix! I would also like to find someone close to us to learn Bhangra dance. I play the Dhol, now it's time to dance. My wife is interested, she is from Chennei, but loves Bhangra and wants to learn too.

aww well it's good your interested in Bhangra.. I'm pretty sure their is someone near you that is willing to help you learn bhangra!

Hey Italian guy....if you're interested in learning bhangra, there is actually a bhangra academy in Northern VA, it's called DCMPAA, and dont miss out on bhangra blowout, april 17th

This is Dave Sharma, percussionist/producer/drummer here in NYC. Glad to see this resource is around for everyone dancing and learning bhangra-- things have changed tremendously over the years and the overall quality of teams is just stupendous right now. Big ups to everyone involved!

I've seen most of you are from US, Canada, etc. Anyway, here I am, representing Sher-E-Punjab Bhangra Group, in Barcelona (Spain). No competitions here, until now... but we'll try to improve and represent bhangra as it deserves!
