Need Dhol buying help!

Hello everyone

I have a question about dhols, since I'm new to this field (I dance classical, bhangra's a whole new game!).

Currently looking to buy one, online though.. Since I won't be going to India for quite some time.

I've narrowed it down to Dhol Etc & Dhol Factory & was wondering if anyone has recommendations/suggestions?

I'd like to get the most for my money..  Let me know if you need any more info..

because thats what I'm looking at on Dholetc, unless the person you suggested can get them cheaper? O.o

Yo if you end up getting a nagi dhol then please pm or post on this thread that if dhol etc was worth it, im in the same situation as you

If you can get a great one w/the perks for cheap then sure, i'd appreciate it because as it stands I'm probably going to end up spending 500-560$.. from either Dholetc for a Nagi or 560 (damn conversion rate!) from Dhol Factory..

& Jdeol, will do.. btw I noticed on another thread about tillis you suggested Dhol factory.. if you know anything about them pm or post here?


anyone else actually try either of them out?

ive never actually used a dhol factory tilli but< im preety sure they know what they are doing with the tillis, they should be good

Or you can get them from Dhol Supplie Singapore. If you go on facebook there will be a guy hargobind Singh and hes the Dhol supplies singapore guy, u can talk to him. or just search dhol supplies singapore under groups

Lali sells nagi dhols.  he does give you great prices for them.  One of my friends bought from dhol etc. and it was a smooth transaction.  i bought from lali and had a smooth transaction, but mine was cheaper

agreed with sid... I bought mine thru dholetc straight through the guys running it before the site launched and it was a little steep but at that point there were no other options. Now their prices have shot up even more.

On the BhangraAvenue front however, you have the same solid NAGI dhols, sick customer service, and a cheaper price...

I'm not personally affiliated with any so I'm not being biased in any way, all I know is that unless you like to blow money for no season whatsoever, I recommend BhangraAvenue

I just closed on a great deal from Lali as well on a  Nagi (the shesham gold on dholetc).. for a LOT less.

He's great and very quick so check your email often.

Gotta say thanks to Armaan & Siddy for recommending Lali at www.Bhangraavenue.com

Got a -complete- dhol package for a great price along with excellent customer service... I'm pretty sure I emailed the hell out of him lol & he still answered every question promptly.
