Kainthe- One time my kainthe smacked me in the tooth during a performance. If you're worried that the same might happen to you, pin the kainthe to your kurta on top of your sternum.
YES. This has happened to me before at an on-campus cultural event. Unfortunately, the camera man also zoomed in on me and was lucky enough to see me get smacked.
I think its pretty lame when teams show up to a competition and don't know how to tie pughs. If you don't have someone on your team who can tie a pugh before you go backstage to get dressed, don't expect that someone from another team will just magically appear to tie them for you. Its a burden on someone to be tying 15 pughs or more for multiple teams.
Once it's tied just give a little shake side and front to test the turla after that just "sit down, shut up, and wait" - (that is the exact quote I get in punjabi after my pagg is tied- I just provided an english translation) lol!
a question for the girlsmake-up; do you have it the same? how "bright/standing out" is the eyeshadow? does everyone do their own or one person?does it even make a difference if it is on or not?

iono if any of the guys here wear surma(eyeliner) but i've seen 3D guys wear it...it def brings out the eyes...i remember i use to wear it back in punjab when i was danced (that was what...15 years ago... =/ ) but yeah...i think guys def should wear surma.
1 pin for chaadra, 2 for phummian (one on each arm), 0 for pug, 0 for vesttotal of 3 pins per guy
