who do you guys think is a better producer...

I personally like Aman Hayer...i just think Dr. Zeus is more of a club bhangra type and Aman Hayer is more towards dancing

lol and whats funny is if you watch Sher Punjabi's video, he also looks awkward in the video like he doesn't fit in.
Punjabi producers need to stop trying to make "hot new cool modern" videos when they them self look horrible in them

As far as this year goes, Aman Hayer killed it. it's too bad the music videos are horrible. they had great potential for getting bhangra teams on them but then again i'm biased! Dr. Zeus came out w/ 2 nice jhummar songs but stylistically and production-wise they were very similar. He's hitting a plateau with his creativity.

Aman Hayer got Nirmal Sidhu...who was one of the most successful artists (in terms of performance, not talking about money) in my opinion this year...but Hayer continues to put in silly rapping/reggae stuff over bhangra which really kills the songs...

what do you guys think?

I am a big fan for songs that have addicting tunes, not just amazing beats and amazing lyrics. So, Aman Hayer wins.

Yeah, just as Govind said, Aman Hayer's songs have performance potential.

In music videos, Zeus is always trying to look gangsta and Hayer always looking classy with his suits and stuff.

Aman Hayer hands down. He actually produces his own music whereas most of Zeus' stuff.. at least his older stuff, which is all he's really good for, was pretty much the work of Frantic Kam.

Actually Zeus produces all of his own stuff, even the older tunes. It;s just a horrible rumor that Kam produced Unda the Influnce. If you listen to Kam's older albums, he can't produce anything like Zeus's older stuff. He's a sound engineer so he works alongside Zeus to master the albums. So in a way. he does help with the production but doesn't entirely come up with it.

But Aman Hayer is much better in terms of production. Though Zeus tried to release a more desi album with the last one, Aman Hayer has been doing it for quite a while. Only thing i dont like about Hayer is that he never really gives good music to other albums like Nirmal Sidhu's or KS Makhan's last one (unlike Shinda who always tries to give top music to everyone).

one thing i like about zeus is that he has the balls to use new and upcoming voices on his albums. before unda the influence, lehmber was just starting to get popular, coming off working with zeus' friend sanj on das ja. after unda the influence, lehmber blew up. and for back unda the influence, who knew who g sharmilla was? he has a great, fresh and raw voice. personally, im a bit more partial to zeus as i felt that his 4 never-delete-from-your-ipod classics (assi haan punjab, akh da nishana, sat sri akal, adhi holi maar kuriye) were better than hayer's contributions (chak dow ge, sher punjabi)

I'm a fan of both of them, but I just hate how in most of Aman Hayer's songs, he makes it so americanized. Dharti Hildi and Jaan Punjabi would so unbelievably better if he took out the english parts and just kept it all punjabi. Also, I don't know how much G Money contributes to Aman Hayer's songs but he just ends up ruining some of the songs he's in. He really needs to be cut out of all of the songs he talks in, especially Sher Punjabi.

"Mr. Aman Hayer, Mr. Nirmal Sidhu..." ughhh lol

EDIT: He is Punjab's version of DJ Khaled. Though to be fair, I don't think anyone can get as annoying as DJ Khaled. "WE THE BEST!"
