parul trust me, you know I have a macbook and believe me its easier to use bootcamp, grab a copy of windows and use acid because it is sooooooo much easier to use AND there's already a really good step by step tutorial on here done by abhigames on how to mix using acid :) plus when you've got windows means all those programs etc that you wana use that aren't compatible with mac you can still have at the press of the alt button!

search logic pro on isohunt and you will see a bunch of torrents... if you want all the effects and everything you are going to have to download the 50+gb file

This question has already been answered numerous times "JSingh", if you use the search bar you shall find the answer to your questions without making topics.
As I can see you may have already found the answer but I couldn't agree anymore to "2Nyce" and "SiddyP", Soundtrack Pro (which is part of Logic) and Garageband are both one of the most professional programs out there if you spend time on them learning how to use each function. I've been mixing on Garageband for a couple of months now and I can tell you it's DEMON!
If you didn't already know, Virtual DJ can be used on Mac as-well. Definitely give it a go! ;)
Good-luck!
Pritpal.

there isnt a mac version for sony acid...its PC only...if you have an intel based mac you can buy (or download) "parallels" and run windows on your mac...then you can install acid pro on it...so essentially you can have acid on your "mac" cept your not running on a mac OS

Hey guys i was wondering what do you guys use to make mixes on a MAC?
i've used GarageBand for a few but i cant really get a split as to where the beats occur in songs so when i have to cut two songs or merge em side by side i cant get them going together on a simultaneous beat.
I found a way around that using VirtualDJ for that small portion but its not as quick or i have to record the same portion of the song over and over again and again when i dont feel its ok
