whatup everyone,
swi and i promised we would start makin tutorial videos on how we make   our mixes (for learning purposes of course to anyone that wants to get   to know acid better) but since i cant figure out a good screen capturing   program for free, i figured id post the .ACD-ZIP file for whoever wants   to download it and mess around//see what i did.
   
if you have any mixes in particular you want posted let me know and ill try to accomodate.
   
also, you'll notice the mix doenst sound exactly the same as the one   released on CD. thats because i had to take certian dhol and tabla   loops, voice effects, and other sound effects out. im only helpin the   mixin community not givin away free shit - i forget who it was on BTF   that said hours and hours were put into finding what i use so if you're   serious about mixin youll also put in the time for it.
   
if anyone has any questions as to why i did somethin, how i did   somethin, or anything at all feel free to ask on this threat and either   swizzee or i will get back to you as soon as possible

i let them all peak while im makin the mix i dont worry bout levels unless theyre ridiculously out of control and distorting. i worry about compression/EQ/levels later. this files isnt the complete one but i figured id help out whoever as far as if they wanna learn how to chop/beatmap/pitch correct/pan etc.

i have acid music studio 7.0, but how come when i try to open it, a sign comes up which doesnt let me open the file??

i have no idea brotha i couldnt tell you. its prolly just ur version of acid not complying with it. try a clean install? if it works fine on other files but just not this one then im not sure

any1 have a crack for acid 7.0 for windows 7? :S shyt doesnt work lol

Hey manjot, I'm using the cracked version on windows 7 so it should work (most programs for XP/Vista should work for 7). Are you using LilSandhu's crack (I have my version if for some reason his doesn't work)?

where do you get your dhol loops from? In the intro from your new album theres a dhol beat in the background, did you just loop a small part of a different song to get it?

back in january i put in days upon days worth of time in order to find them online - samples, loops, parts of songs...anything i could find. and got some recorded in a studio.

can u plzz tell me how u make the sound effects like bruaah echoo??
